Reset and reinstall

There are four different "resets", and they differ a lot in consequences. Start with the gentlest one.

1. CleanUp — stop background processes

Stops the panel's and Steam's background processes. Touches no data and no settings, and does not interrupt an active game.

Where: Seva Installer → Settings → CleanUp.

Use it when the panel is stuck or behaving strangely.

2. Reinstall the panel

Downloads and installs the panel again, on top of the existing system.

Where: Seva Installer → Reinstall.

3. Reset installed data

A full cleanup of the panel's data: the panel's and Steam's processes are stopped, and the downloaded panel, Steam and slot data are removed.

It asks for confirmation, but — unlike CleanUp — it does not refuse to run during an active game: confirm it and it force-stops everything, slots and the running game included. Wait for the matches to end if they matter.

Preserved: the license, the logpass (logpass.txt) and the maFile. So you do not have to activate the key again.

Where: Seva Installer → Settings → Maintenance → Reset installed data.

If leftovers from a previous session are found on the disk, the installer shows a banner offering to clean them up.

4. Reinstall the whole system

Boot from the installation USB drive and choose Install Seva Client OS — automatic install, ERASES THE WHOLE DISK.

danger

The disk is erased completely. The license, the logpass and the maFile go with it — save them first if you need them.

This is the last resort, for when the system will not boot or is damaged. Every panel-level problem is solved by options 1–3.

Separately: resetting the license

Reset license in the installer removes the key from this machine and brings back the key entry screen. The system and the panel are left alone.

To move a license to a different computer, reset it in the bot, not here: the bot issues a new key and disconnects the old machine.
